Another day, another shooting. It seems to be a growing problem as the United States witness yet another shooting attack at Cielo Vista Mall, El-Paso. The mall is located just a few miles north from the US-Mexico border.
This is another horrifying event that reported 15 killed and 23 individuals severely injured and are now being treated at the hospitals locally. The injured included young children as well as adults.
According to a police spokesperson, the shooter was a white male in his 20’s. At the moment, the suspect is in police custody. The motive of the shooter remains un-identified.
11:00 AM local time was the reported time when the first shooting emerged.
Previously, the Walmart shooting incident took place during peak hours when the store was fully occupied mostly with kids and parents shopping for school.
A witness, Glen Oakly, told CNN that he was in a sporting goods store inside the shopping centre when a child ran inside “telling us there’s an active shooter at Walmart”, reported BBC News.
Police confirms there are no more immediate threat to the people while they continue searching for any additional evidence that might support the incident.
“Blood Donations” are urgently needed as the medical facilities struggle to cure the injured.
