NEW YORK (Delcominfotech) – Recent reports have confirmed 2 cases of Coronavirus in New York.

New York Governor Andrew Cuomo disclosed on Tuesday (not quoted) – A resident of New York suburb, also a health care worker in Manhattan was tested positive for coronavirus, making it a total of 2 identified cases till date.

The subject identified to be a victim of coronavirus is hospitalized due to a respiratory illness. The victim had recently visited Miami and has not traveled to any country that is the epicenter of the outbreak – Governor Cuomo mentioned at a news conference.

The news about the second case of coronavirus broke out after a Jewish school in New York City canceled classes as a part of precautionary measures due to a suspected case of coronavirus within the community.

Reports suggest that SAR High School in Riverdale, Bronx has been in constant communications with the DOH (Department of Health) and has been following its precautionary and safety guidelines to ensure a safe environment in the school.

Reuters reported in an article – “At this time it important to remain calm,” a statement from school officials said in an interview.

Till date, the United States has identified about 100 people tested positively for coronavirus countrywide, including the two cases in New York.
